The event was held Apr 26, 2026 with so much jubilations! The mayor of Brampton and many delegates of the Tanzanian diaspora were in attendance.

The City hall is very accessible using Go-Transit. Many delegates attended to officiate the inaugural flag raising ceremony of the Tanzanian flag to commemorate Tazania Union Day. Sauti za Africa is covering this and many other events.
